Anemon Ege Hotel - Bornova

The hotel's location is fantastic, being very close to the Bornova shopping centre and the famous Forum Bornova shopping mall. it is conveniently located next to the University Hospital, which makes it a great choice for those needing easy access to medical facilities. The breakfast offered at the hotel is excellent, with a wide range of Turkish foods available. Lastly, the staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful, making me feel very welcome.

It's close the Bornova Forum if a person is seeking a shopping mall, its in the heart of Bornova in case you have business in that area very close to both the Metro station and the bus station and located inside the university campus, Quiet, Staff are friendly & helpful,

The Air conditioning in the whole hotel is very bad, pictures that are shown in the gallery are very old and doesn't reflect the current state for the hotel, much of the hotel has deteriorated, breakfast buffet is not that diverse I advice in not taking a package with breakfast you can easily find several shops if you go around the hotel and get a better breakfast for a better price difference. the central AC is in a very bad condition throughout the whole hotel so in case you don't mind sleeping with the window opened and bare the noise outside (generators, people walking,etc) then it's fine

The room was in very poor state, bathroom in bad condition, a/c with mould around, felt uncomfortable. Non-smoking room requested, but smoking room with a lot of smell left.

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel! The prime location, nestled on the university campus, provided a serene atmosphere and convenient access to all amenities nearby. The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with excellent amenities like air conditioning and mini-bar. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The delicious buffet breakfast offered a wide range of Turkish dishes to satisfy all palates. The free Wi-Fi ensured that I stayed connected with ease. I also appreciated the on-site parking, which added a further level of convenience for my visit.

Breakfast is perfect in this hotel. Free WiFi is perfect too. Room 2nd night was excellent.

You may well chose this hotel whenever your work is at the Ege University campus. It certainly is too far from Izmir when the city is your destination. At arrival we had received a room with extremely stained carpet, no airco and no TV set. For the 2nd night another (renovated) room was offered by the hotel. For some reason the swimming pool was not available. Airco 'was not yet on' in the hotel. It had to wait 'for the hot season to come' although it was 27°C during our stay... We were not happy with the personnel in general. This however does not concern all members of course. Mainly the guys and girls at the reception miss interest in hotel guests.

The language barrier can be challenging as the staff, with the exception of one receptionist, has a limited command of English.

The front desk service was superb! The staff member, Mr Memet, was extremely helpful and patient. He spoke English fluently and went the extra mile to assist me with clarifying some details about tours I had booked. the hotel provided free WiFi with a good connection, which was very convenient.

The restaurant was a major letdown. The wait staff seemed inattentive and forgetful, and the restaurant was practically empty.

Convenient location & amenities; excellent breakfast. This hotel was perfect for my business trip. It's located near shopping centers, making it easy to get what I needed. the breakfast selection was exceptional, with a variety of delicious Turkish foods.

Poor air conditioning; outdated decor.
